Summary of Responsibilities:

The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for providing support for the design and development of multimedia solutions to promote and support quality online courses and eLearning professional development. This position will be responsible for pre-production, production and post-production of various multimedia projects. The Multimedia Specialist will carryout on-location and studio recordings, prepare and maintain video production equipment as well as transporting, setting up and meeting the needs of each recording. Other job functions will include developing and facilitating live and pre-produced training, production of instructional materials, creation of reusable learning objects, and management of network share, processing of captioning and content embedding. Performs other duties as assigned at the discretion of the supervisor. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Media and Innovation. Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
