The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in journalism and multimedia production, with skills in photo manipulation and video editing. This role is essential for supporting our content creation efforts across various platforms, ensuring that our visual storytelling resonates with our audience. Responsibilities Assist in the creation and editing of engaging multimedia content, including articles, videos, and social media posts. Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to manipulate images and design graphics that enhance storytelling. Edit video content using software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro, ensuring high-quality production standards. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop innovative ideas for content that aligns with our brand. Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics. Apply knowledge of color theory to enhance visual elements in all produced content. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in journalism and multimedia production. Experience Proven experience or coursework in journalism, film production, or a related field. Proficiency in photo editing software and tools, particularly within the Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with social media management strategies and tools. Strong understanding of color theory as it applies to visual media. Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro is preferred but not mandatory.
