The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess a strong understanding of video editing techniques. This role involves collaborating with various departments to create engaging video content that aligns with our brand’s goals and enhances our online presence. Duties Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product that meets project specifications. Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to understand project objectives and deliver high-quality videos. Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects for video editing and motion graphics. Incorporate graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance the overall quality of videos. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Stay updated on industry trends in video production and editing techniques. Assist in the development of video content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies. Utilize social listening tools to gauge audience engagement and feedback on video content. Qualifications Proficiency in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. Experience in graphic design using Adobe Illustrator is a plus. Strong understanding of public relations principles and social media marketing strategies. Familiarity with photography techniques to enhance visual storytelling. Knowledge of SEO best practices as they relate to video content is beneficial. Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required for consideration.
