We are seeking a talented and motivated Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have experience producing polished, engaging video content and a passion for storytelling and visual media. Job Responsibilities Edit video content for social media, marketing campaigns, YouTube series, product promotions, and internal initiatives. Work closely with the creative team to bring scripts and concepts to life using effective pacing, transitions, and visuals. Organize and manage media assets to ensure smooth project workflows and file backups. Add motion graphics, effects, subtitles, and music/sound effects as needed. Maintain consistent brand tone, quality, and creative standards across all edited content. Collaborate with videographers, the social media team, and company leadership to execute weekly content plans. Stay current with editing trends, social media platform specifications, and cannabis culture. Meet deadlines for video drafts, revisions, and final deliveries. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of professional experience editing videos. Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, including color grading, audio adjustments, and export formats. A strong portfolio showcasing relevant video editing work. Please include links to your portfolio or editing reel in your application. Understanding of social media video formats (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and long-form content). Strong attention to detail, file organization, and creative storytelling. Ability to take direction, implement feedback, and work both independently and within a team. Passion for cannabis culture or lifestyle media is a plus. Expertise in

DaVinci Resolve :

Comfortable with editing workflows including multicam, proxies, and timeline management. Strong understanding of color correction and color grading using DaVinci’s node-based workflow. Ability to perform audio editing and syncing, noise reduction, and use of audio FX tools within Fairlight. Familiarity with exporting in various formats and resolutions optimized for social media platforms. Portfolio of edited work required (YouTube links, reels, or portfolio site). Strong grasp of video pacing, transitions, and storytelling for both short-form and long-form content. Experience adding motion graphics, lower thirds, text overlays, and basic animation (After Effects experience is a plus but not required). Understanding of frame rates, aspect ratios, and export settings for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube full-length videos, and TikTok. Strong file management and organizational skills with ability to keep projects and assets labeled, backed up, and easily accessible. Able to work independently, follow direction, take feedback constructively, and hit deadlines. Bonus if you have experience with: Camera footage ingestion , syncing, and sorting. Cannabis, lifestyle, or product-based editing. Creating content for high-growth consumer brands.
