The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess strong technical skills in video production and editing. This role involves creating a docuseries documenting the resurrection of a legacy brand under new ownership leading up to a book launch in May 2026. Responsibilities Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials. Shadow the owner to capture raw footage Collaborate with team members to develop concepts and scripts for video projects. Operate video cameras and other equipment during shoots, ensuring optimal lighting and sound quality. Edit raw footage using software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite to produce polished final products. Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator as needed. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Maintain organized files of all footage, edits, and final versions of videos. Pull short clips for social media Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in videography and editing. Requirements Proven experience in video production and editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite (including Adobe After Effects), and other relevant software. Strong understanding of videography techniques, including lighting, composition, and sound design. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work creatively under tight deadlines.
