Job Description:
We’re seeking a skilled Videographer & Editor to join our content team on a freelance or part-time basis. You’ll be responsible for shooting high-quality, on-location video content—including commercials, promotional reels, and product-use footage—for digital ads and social media. Most shoots will take place on boats and waterfront settings in the Jacksonville area.
Responsibilities:
Capture on-location video content showcasing Captains Preferred Products in use Plan, shoot, and edit videos for various platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and paid ads Work with the marketing team to interpret creative briefs and execute video concepts Ensure all footage is clean, sharp, well-lit, and aligned with the brand’s aesthetic Deliver polished edits that include color correction, transitions, motion graphics, and music/sfx where appropriate
Requirements:
Proven experience shooting and editing commercial video content Proficient with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, gimbals, lighting, and audio gear Skilled in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) Local to Jacksonville, FL with reliable transportation to shooting locations Comfortable shooting on boats and around water Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work (submit with application) Pay commensurate with experience. We are happy to negotiate project rates for shoots.
