Job Description
Creative Producer (Videographer / Shooter) ZenGame Kansas City, MO 64106 ZenGame is a fast-growing sports media brand focused on unfiltered athlete storytelling. We film deep interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, and short-form content that builds trust with athletes and resonates with fans. We’re opening a new office in Kansas City and looking for a Creative Producer who can lead all on-site filming — from interviews to b-roll to road content across the Midwest. This is a full-time, in-person role starting July 7. Responsibilities Film all interviews (single and multi-cam), including lighting, audio, and setup Capture b-roll, behind-the-scenes footage, and creative visual elements Travel to regional schools and events (within 200 miles of Kansas City) Coordinate gear, shot lists, and location needs ahead of each shoot Collaborate closely with the senior video editor and social media manager Maintain and organize footage after shoots for handoff to post-production Occasionally assist with selects, thumbnails, or short-form pulls when needed
Qualifications Required:
2+ years experience shooting video content (interviews, doc-style, or sports content preferred) Proficient with camera systems, lighting setups, and audio equipment Able to work independently in small crews or 1-2 person shoots Strong attention to detail and storytelling instincts Willing to travel regionally (MO, KS, NE, IA) for shoots Comfortable working full-time, in-person in
Kansas City, MO Preferred:
Experience working in sports media or with athlete content Ability to operate multi-cam setups and manage audio mixes on set Familiarity with prepping selects for editors or helping with basic edits Knowledge of YouTube framing, thumbnail strategy, or vertical formats a plus
