- JOB DESCRIPTIONUnder the supervision of the Director of Marketing, this role is responsible for producing high-quality, creative video and design content to enhance the college’s brand and effectively engage its target audience.
Duties include, but are not limited to: Work closely with the Director of Marketing, Community Relations staff and other key personnel throughout the College to develop consistent, creative messaging for the College’s programs via video and designDevelop story concepts, public service announcements, media advisories, marketing pieces and testimonials to place on local, regional and national media platforms in a digital video formatWork closely with departments within the College and off-campus/location contacts to garner newsworthy public relations storiesMaintain a videography schedule to ensure video coverage for publicity of college events and to meet the College’s videography needsShoot, edit and accomplish technical tasks related to production and post-production for final cut of materials for the news media, the College’s official websites and social accounts and other platforms as requestedTransport, set up and operate various videography production equipment including, but not limited to, cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, backdrops and microphone for location and studio productionOperate and maintain proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and visual recorders and other production equipmentCollect and maintain a library of b-roll for production of video projectsSupervise and train Work Study students in videography, as neededMaintain College’s @ItawambaCC YouTube page and provide yearly report of YouTube analytics to the Director of MarketingAssist with publicizing special events and College events as neededMaintain a presence in professional associations related to the field of work
