Assignment:
Film 4 Dance Recitals in their entirety
Equipment and Backstage Feed Setup:
Friday, May 9th, 2025 at 3:00pm
Recitals:
Friday May 9th, 2025 @ 6:00pm, Saturday May 10th, 2025 @ 9:30am, Saturday May 10th, 2025 @ 1:30pm, Saturday May 10th, 2025 @ 5:00pm Each show is approximately 2.5 hours
Location:
Louisburg College, Louisburg NC Must have experience filming in a LIVE Stage environment (preferable dance) and are able to adjust on the fly to many different lighting situations. A backstage feed needs to be run by the videographer prior to the first show and be removed after the last show. We will provide the videographer with an SDI cable to run and tape down. You must have your own equipment as follows:
VIDEO EQUIPMENT 2
camcorder style cameras that accept XLR input for sound (one for panning and scanning, one for lock down shot of the stage) and SDI-Out to run a backstage feed. Cameras should be able to record 2-3 hours continuously. (DSLR’s are not acceptable for this assignment)
SOUND EQUIPMENT
-Minimum of 2 shotgun microphones or wireless mic system
MISC EQUIPMENT -2
Sturdy tripods
DELIVERY OF FOOTAGE
Videographer must put footage on a Hard Drive or Flash Drive and shipped into our editing facility
