Position Summary The Department of Communication and Language Studies at Bryant University invites applications for a full-time, renewable, lecturer position to begin fall of 2025. Principal Accountabilities The successful candidate will be required to teach four courses per semester in the Communication program and conduct service for the department and university (recruitment, department promotion and events, public outreach initiatives, etc.). The primary duty of the successful candidate will be to teach Basic Studio Production, Digital Media Production, and courses based on candidate’s experience and expertise.

Specific Duties:

• Teach four courses per semester in the Department of Communication and Language Studies; Studio and Digital Production.
• Provide service to the Department of Communication and Bryant University.
• Help facilitate open houses, information sessions, and other recruitment events both on and off campus.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

Potential candidates should, at a minimum, hold a master’s degree in Communication or related field or equitable level of industry experience. Candidates also should have college teaching experience in digital media and/or studio production. We are looking for poised, results-oriented enthusiastic candidates who will promote our programs through lively engagement and collaboration and have a positive impact on enrollment. Desired Qualifications:

• Have experience with multi-camera studio and field productions, both live and recorded, and single camera field productions in the areas of news, sports and entertainment,
• Understand multi-camera production workflows and post-production techniques for multi-camera studio and field productions utilizing Adobe Premiere CC including, but not limited to, Premiere Pro,
• Have experience with studio equipment, including but not limited to, Ross switchers, Ross graphics systems, Ross file management systems, digital audio consoles, intercom systems, wireless IFB systems, routing systems and lighting systems,
• Understand emerging trends within digital media and/or studio production including AI’s use in image, video, and audio content creation
• Familiarity with AI image, video and audio generators/editing software such as Sora, Adobe Firefly, Synthesia, etc.
• Utilize standards for digital storytelling
