The Tri-County Technical College Business and Public Services division is seeking collaborative, energetic, and innovative Media Arts Production Adjunct Instructor. Reporting to the Business Public Services Department Head, successful candidates will teach Adobe Creative Cloud, proficient with industry experience, as well as video and audio skills and still photography using a DSL camera using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement, and assign grades for the program. Classes are offered during the day at our Tri-County Technical College satellite campus in Pendleton. Curriculum may include teaching courses in Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro. Fall 2025 Semester begins on August 11th, 2025. Media Arts Production Adjunct role is a part-time employment role. Successful candidates will be required to teach face-to-face instruction at our Pendleton campuses Minimum and Additional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts related field; Media/Communications Digital Media, Broadcasting, etc. Industry experience, Working knowledge of Adobe products including, but not limited to: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PremierePro, AfterEffects, and Audition.
Have a proficient knowledge in audio and video techniques and applications.
Still photography using a DSLR camera, lighting and Photoshop experience and a passion for teaching.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in related field.
Graphic and web design experience
Operational knowledge and fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects).
Direct experience in one or more of the following areas: Digital photography, radio/news/commercial production, graphic design, copy writing, video editing, broadcast journalism, video production and audio production.
