Job Description
LHH is seeking a highly skilled Mass Tort and/or Asbestos Litigation Writer to support the creation and review of legal content focused on drug, consumer product, environmental, and other litigation topics. This role is ideal for a legal professional with strong writing skills and subject-matter expertise in mass tort and asbestos litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and write content between 1,000-3,000 words based on detailed content briefs. Produce high-quality, SEO-informed legal content for online publication and, occasionally, for third-party websites. Ensure all content reflects a casual yet medically accurate tone and voice. Fact-check, proofread, and format content before submission to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with established guidelines. Meet deadlines by submitting completed assignments within 2-3 days of receipt. Follow brand and editorial standards for voice, tone, and structure. Use your legal experience, authority, and expertise to create trustworthy and informative content. Allow your name and likeness to be used as a subject-matter expert and author. Communicate regularly with the Managing Editor and Content Editors to provide progress updates.
Qualifications:
JD and FL barred attorney is required plus relevant legal experience, particularly in mass tort and/or asbestos litigation. Strong portfolio of legal writing for digital audiences. Exceptional research and fact-checking skills within legal and medical frameworks. Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent tone and formatting. Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and communicating effectively with editorial staff.
