Your Role:
Customs Entry Writer
As a Customs Entry Writer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth clearance of imported goods while ensuring fullpliance with U.S. Customs and Participating Government Agency (PGA) regulations. π
Key Responsibilities:
β Prepare and process customs entries for international import shipments
β Classify goods correctly using HTS codes and ensurepliance with U.S. Customs & PGA requirements
β Coordinate with brokers, carriers, and government agencies to facilitate smooth cargo clearance
β Communicate with clients & internal teams to ensure timely and accurate documentation
β Stay updated on customs regulations, tariffs, and tradepliance laws
β Resolve customs-related issues & troubleshoot clearance delays π―
What We’re Looking For:
β 1+ years of hands-on experience in Customs Entry within Freight Forwarding
β Strong knowledge of international import transportation & customs brokerage prores
β Familiarity with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) & PGA regulations
β Exceptional attention to detail & ability to work under strict deadlines
β Excellentmunication skills for working with clients, carriers & customs officials
