Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. This includes remote work and 1-2 days in office per week. Alternate locations may be considered. The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations. The Senior Marketing Communications Writer is responsible for providing advanced creative and technical advice and writing support for the development and implementation of highly complex marketing communication materials. How You Will Make an Impact Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: + Consults with business leaders to identify business objectives. + Evaluates the effectiveness of communication plans and materials, and recommends communication strategies and implementation approaches. + Collaborates with creative teams on customer needs, and develops and implements communication solutions. + Researches, writes, edits, and reviews content for traditionally printed programs (marketing collateral, trade publication advertising, direct mail, etc.) and/or digital programs (online advertising, micro sites, text campaigns, etc.). + Ensures all materials meet internal and external business and legal standards and follow corporate standards, guidelines, and approval processes. + Develops budget and negotiates services with outside vendors. + Identifies improvement/efficiencies that support operational excellence, and supports business initiatives (plain language, standardization, going paperless, etc.). + Mentors other communication specialists and support staff. + With direction from the CD or ACD, develop creative concepts, and write executions. + With UX designer and SEO, create great work that meets or exceeds the high standards of the CD and the Creative Department. + Competently juggle the demands of multiple projects, schedules, and priorities with a calm demeanor. + Care for the ton
