The written materials could include but are not limited to blogs, articles, promotional marketing emails, customer stories, etc. This position may also interview developers and other software stakeholders about current tech topics and producing interesting, engaging, and relevant pieces. This is short-term, temporary role is assisting the marketing team with scaling efforts across multiple platforms. Ideally, this individual will have the ability to create one piece per day, roughly 5 to 7 pieces per week. We are seeking candidates that are located within 50-miles of our office in Morrisville, N.C. as this is a hybrid position. Core Responsibilities Write original marketing content following interviews and product/platform research. Write for multiple formats including blogs, articles, email campaigns, customer stories, etc. Craft compelling headlines and messaging tailored to a technical audience. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and happy customers to develop promotional and testimonial content. Identify and address content gaps, proposing new article and content ideas. Research trending topics and propose content that aligns with current developer interests. Assist in managing editorial workflow and approvals to ensure timely delivery. Review and analyze customer survey feedback, identifying areas where content can be more thorough or comprehensible. Adhere to brand voice and editorial standards. Contribute to team goals related to community engagement and content output volume.
Education, Experience, Specialized and Preferred Skills Education Level:
Bachelor’s Degree in
English or Journalism Experience Level:
1-5 years of technical writing, editing, copyediting, or graphic design experience, or a combination thereof.
