Department Overview
The Product Specialist (“PS”) Team creates, updates and disseminates information, messaging and materials for investor communications initiatives and assists Marketing in developing information, messaging and communications materials for other audiences. The Team works with Firm leadership, other Investor Partners Group (“IPG”) Teams, Direct Lending and Broadly Syndicated Loans, Credit Opportunities, Fund Accounting and Compliance to create and disseminate information that is timely, accurate, on-brand and on-message. In addition, the Team assists Business Development in technical discussions with potential and current investors. The Team also frequently develops and / or presents content for investor-oriented presentations, panels and speaking opportunities.
Position Responsibilities
The Associate will support the Insights Team to amplify the Golub Capital “voice” in content created for existing and prospective investors.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting in crafting new persuasive and engaging content pieces rooted in a deep understanding of the Firm’s brand, values, business and products
Developing fluency in Golub Capital’s products and business; helping to deliver the Firm’s value proposition to various constituencies and driving continuous improvement in how the Firm communicates to investors
Conducting research to identify trends, insights and competitive analysis to inform content approach
Collaborating with departments across the Firm to source product and portfolio information
Performing a preliminary edit of written copy for clarity, accuracy and consistency with Firm standards
Ensuring client materials meet the highest quality standards and business requirements
Helping to establish well-documented, efficient, scalable processes for ideation, creation, review and approval of content
Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required
At least 2 years of related experience in the financial services industry
Familiarity with middle market lending, broadly syndicated loans and credit asset management is ideal
Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills are required
Familiarity with Seismic is a plus
Proven ability to aggregate and synthesize information from diverse qualitative and quantitative sources
Demonstrated ability to review complex written content with clarity, precision and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Meticulous attention to detail; demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards and compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines
Track record of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
Enthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work culture

Compensation and Benefits

For New York Only:

It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $115,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an ‘at-will position’ and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.
