Lead Content Writer Moments With The Book Bedford, PA 15522 Moments With The Book is seeking a qualified candidate to write evangelistic and teaching messages for gospel tracts and other publications. In addition to writing, this role includes working as part of our in-house content team to develop new messages, researching, editing, and collaborating with other content creators. Job Details Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week, depending on applicant’s preference) Weekdays (weekends and evenings not required) In-person Bedford, PA Key Responsibilities Working as part of a team to conceptualize new publications and resources Writing clear, effective messages that reach a broad range of audiences Collaborating with other writers and content creators to create and nurture partnerships Researching, compiling, and editing articles for our magazine and websites Reviewing and editing customer-submitted manuscripts Other Expectations As a small company, our entire team wears many “hats” and each member is expected to participate in areas outside of their primary role. This can include managing projects, shifting gears during busy times, and covering for team members who are out of the office. Depending on the season and your schedule, these other tasks may require up to 25% or even 50% of your time.

Examples include:

Customer service (by phone and/or email) Assisting with product handling and shipping during busy seasons Preparing mailings (planning, collating) Social media (planning, scheduling, writing posts, and replying to inquiries) Donor relations Free literature program management Skills and Qualifications Excellent written communication skills A thorough knowledge of Biblical doctrine Experience in Christian publishing is a plus Experience with personal evangelism Formal training in writing or Biblical studies is not required, but is a plus Excellent computer and organizational skills The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to incorporate feedback from various sources Advancement The ideal candidate would be able to eventually take a leadership role in strategic planning for: New product lines Production schedules Product promotions Compensation and Benefits Depending on experience and abilities, the starting annual salary range for this full-time position is $40,000 – $55,000.
