Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9:30 am – 3:00 pm plus 2.5 hours of planning and recruitment total 19 hours

Description:

The GED Instructor provides general education to students preparing for GED test(s), which includes basic academic skills in reading, writing, and math. Administers and scores TABE and GED practice tests. The position includes counseling students, preparing student records, report data, and maintaining state and local paperwork. Recruits and promotes the adult education program to the public and private organizations on a weekly basis. Must attend and participate in staff development and staff meetings. The GED Instructor is responsible for classroom employees and volunteers. Must be proficient in Windows applications (such as Word and Excel), internet, outlook, and job-related software programs. Will be responsible for marketing program in Stephens County.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors’ degree in education or teaching related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of one (1) year teaching experience, preferably adult education

Salary/Benefits:
