Position Summary
The Burlington County Institute of Technology Adult Education Division is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Plumbing Apprenticeship Instructor to join our team on an hourly, part-time basis. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJ Master Plumber License and bring a minimum of 5 years of field experience, with a passion for teaching and mentoring future plumbing professionals.
Qualifications
Valid NJ Master Plumber License (required)
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the plumbing field
Ability to incorporate current plumbing codes into instruction
Strong oral and written communication skills
Prior instructional experience preferred, but not required
Hourly Rate & Schedule
$39.15/hour (Competitive hourly rate)
Part-time, evening schedule aligned with the Adult Education calendar
Additional Information
Must pass criminal history background check
Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status required
Must establish NJ residency within one year of hire
