Tri-County Technical College’s Corporate & Community Education Division is searching for a Journeyman – Master Electrician, with industry experience, to teach classroom and hands-on lab instruction, following and completing course objectives, competencies, assessing students, retaining students, classroom management, and care of equipment.
Job Duties include:

Plan and participate in the instruction of classes for the program; prepare supplemental materials and quizzes; maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance. Prepare objectives, assignments, grading standards, attendance policies, and course syllabus to be distributed at the first class meeting; utilize textbooks; prepare, proctor, and grade quizzes; and prepare instructional materials and teaching aids. Follow objectives and course outlines for each class; begin and end each class on time; turn in reports, and final grades; revise course content and objectives as required; and administer student class evaluations. Assist in the evaluation of activities and operations of assigned program; ensure that operations meet the goals and objectives of the college and the needs of the student population. This is a part-time position, with the availability of contract hours and scheduling (day/evening)) depending upon enrollment needs. Minimum and Additional Requirements Must have experience at a journey or technician level with at least 5 years of expertise in trade or a minimum of three years of experience as a certified teacher in an electrical vocational/technical training program.
