Job Description:
General Statement
Adjunct instructors teach courses within a specific discipline to a diverse student population. We are looking for adjuncts to teach Introduction to Psychology during the day. Responsibilities include instructional preparation, assessment of student performance and assistance to students. Adjunct faculty will attend a limited number of faculty meetings.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Sociology and Anthropology or related field
Teaching/training experience
Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity in the curriculum as appropriate.
Must be able to teach during the day.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree
Experience teaching Introduction to Psychology at the college-level
