Job Description:
In the School of Social and Natural Sciences, new adjunct faculty in the fields of Cultural Anthropology and/or Sociology are welcome to apply to teach in the Anthropology+Sociology Department. The ability to teach introductory and/or elective courses in Cultural Anthropology or Sociology is needed. Application materials posted to this website will be reviewed when specific positions become available in the Anthropology+Sociology Department. Requirements:
Faculty members are expected to teach content knowledge, as well as critical thinking. Must have at least a Master’s degree in either Cultural Anthropology or Sociology and evidence of recent college-level teaching effectiveness. At the University’s discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be accepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the University, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
