JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the media asset management of NCL’s Creative and Video library. The role will participate in the migration, ingestion, organization and archiving of digital assets, working in conjunction with Management, to ensure a smooth operation, maintenance, monitoring and deployment of the commissioned MAM and DAM platforms. With an expertise in metadata standards, the role will ensure the efficient and effective use and distribution of assets across various marketing channels and platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate the organization, maintenance, and accessibility of all media assets, ensuring proper file naming, folder structures, and cataloging strategies.
Ingest, organize, and facilitate retrieval of digital assets (raw media, project files, images, video, audio, final files) into the MAM/DAM system, supporting both internal and external distribution.
Oversee and support advanced MAM/DAM features, including keyword tagging, custom metadata fields, and backup/archival processes.
Act as the metadata subject matter expert, defining and implementing metadata schemas, requirements, and standards, and regularly auditing for accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, creative teams, and the Sr. Manager of Video Post Production to streamline workflows for asset ingestion, retrieval, sharing, and project support.
Partner with internal IT and Evolphin Zoom teams to ensure proper deployment, integration, and support of asset management systems and plug-ins (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud).
Manage user permissions, access levels, and onboarding/training for internal teams to ensure secure and effective use of the MAM/DAM system.
Work with stakeholders to obtain and embed image/video licensing and usage rights into asset metadata and run reports to monitor expiring assets and update license terms.
Collaborate with support teams and engineers for troubleshooting, system improvements, and technology upgrades based on evolving business needs.
Generate asset and system reports, monitor storage capacity and performance, and maintain accurate documentation and records.
Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in

DAM/MAM/PAM

technologies.
Mentor users and maintain documentation and guidelines for file management, naming conventions, and workflows.
Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS DEGREE TYPE

Bachelor’s Degree FIELD(S)

OF STUDY

Management Information Systems, Library Science, Media Management, Information Technology, or a related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant experience and skills.

EXPERIENCE

3-5 years of experience managing a Digital Asset Management (DAM) or Media Asset Management (MAM) system (preferably Evolphin Zoom or similar platform), in large organizations.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Proficient in managing and converting various digital asset file formats, including video codecs, image formats, color modes, and video transcoding/proxy workflows.
Experience working with large-scale media libraries and MAM/DAM systems in agency, creative, or marketing environments, including production/in-progress workflows.
Familiarity with AI/ML tools for media tagging within DAM/MAM systems is desirable.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to create logical structures for asset management.
Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate with technical, creative, and production teams, and escalate issues as needed.
Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments, prioritize multiple tasks, and consistently deliver high-quality work while fostering professional relationships with team members and vendors.
Proactive problem-solver with a desire to stay current on new technologies through self-directed research.
