Job Description
Imaging Specialist 1.3 1.3 out of 5 stars Maitland, FL 32751 Stellar Innovative Solutions Corp. is looking for an Imaging Specialist that is proficient in digitizing records from microfilm/microfiche for a project. This person would work in the Stellar office space, focusing on digitizing and processing microfilm records on a day-to-day basis. Potential hires will be required to pass a background check before being fully onboarded. Duties Digitize images from microfilm with proprietary image capture software and scanning equipment. Back up digital images to preservation microfilm using state-of-the-art archival writing equipment. Microfilm paper documents by use of traditional 16 mm or 35 mm planetary cameras. Process and duplicate preservation 16 mm and 35 mm microfilm. Scan paper records by use of high-speed document scanners, flatbed scanners, and book scanners. Maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and adhering to working standards. Handle, move and lift boxes of materials up to 20 lbs.
