Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking a part-time Screenprinting instructor to teach the Screenprinting I and II courses as needed within an
AAS:
Graphic Design degree program.
This degree program is housed with the Department of Art & Design alongside a vibrant AFA degree program. Preference will be shown to applicants who possess Adobe Professional Certifications and who hold advanced degrees.
Required Education/Experience:
:
Applicants must hold either:
Master’s Degree in Fine Art (MFA or MAFA)
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, Graphic Communications (or related degree within this discipline)
Associates Degree in Graphic Design with related industry experience and an Adobe Professional Certification
Must earn the degree prior to June 1, 2025 for Summer start, or prior to August 18, 2025 for Fall start.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Faculty must be extremely organized and reliable. These courses are taught in a shared studio space.
- Faculty are required to participate in college email, college and departmental deadlines, and have regular contact with his/her supervisor.
- The ability to work closely with other faculty and collaborate on projects is required.
- Faculty are expected to have student representation in all art exhibitions.
- This position is primarily for in person courses on both the North and South campuses.
