Position Summary:

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College seeks a dynamic and experienced adjunct instructor to teach studio art courses with a focus on drawing and 2D media. This part-time position offers the opportunity to guide and inspire Art majors and Non-Art majors in developing their artistic skills. Candidates with expertise in figure drawing and painting are strongly encouraged to apply.
Potential to teach lecture courses such as Art Appreciation as needed.
Required Education/Experience:

Master’s degree in Visual Arts (MAFA, MFA, etc.) and expertise in a studio discipline required.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
:
Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
Experience with new technologies such as 3D Printing, iPad and Adobe softwares, laser cutters, etc. are a plus.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
:
Must be able toplete administrative tasks and email on-time. Must be able to submit a thorough syllabus and semester course plan for each course taught. Must be organized and responsible.
