Job Description
The College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University seeks a Part-Time Faculty to teach HOM482 – Global Popular Music (3 credits) for the Department of Art & Music Histories during the Fall 2025 semester. This class will explore the development of global popular music in the contexts of colonization, modernization, resistance, and nationalism. The sounds and production values of global fusions and issues of authenticity, identity, and appropriation. The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per-credit-rate-history within the hiring department. This position is subject to funding availability and enrollment.
