Bethany Christian School is seeking a full-time Art Teacher to lead an engaging visual arts program for students in grades K-8. As a teacher at BCS, you are not just delivering content—you’re shaping hearts and minds through intentional instruction rooted in biblical truth. What You’ll Do Teach engaging, age-appropriate art lessons for students in grades K-12, covering a variety of styles and media including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Create a positive, Christ-centered classroom environment where students are encouraged to explore, express, and reflect biblical truth through art. Plan and organize the school’s annual art show, including setup, artwork display, and coordination with staff and families to celebrate student work from all grade levels. Maintain the art classroom with organized materials, updated supply inventory, and clean, inviting creative space. Display student artwork throughout the school and at events throughout the year. Integrate biblical worldview and character development into your daily instruction and feedback. Keep accurate attendance and basic recordkeeping for student participation and progress. Collaborate with teachers and administration to support school-wide events, curriculum themes, and community-building efforts. Attend chapel, professional development sessions, and school events as part of the full-time faculty team.
