Art Teacher Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic School 2785 Happy Hoyer St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 Our Lady Queen of the Martyrs in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is looking for a creative full-time K-8 Art Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This person will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate art program for all grade levels K-8. The candidate should be professional, disciplined and be a team player. The Art Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with certification and years of service.
Qualifications:
BS / BA Degree in Art or related field. Florida Department of Education certificate is required, temporary or professional. The ability to engage and educate students of all grade levels K-8. Excellent classroom management skills. Minimum of 2 years’ experience. Strong presentation skills with the use of instructional technologies. Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar required. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, PowerPoint a plus. Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred. Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church. Must have a professional demeanor.
