Citi Christian Academy 3001 NW 22nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33142 Position Overview Leading and teaching art activities and planning. This position requires the teacher to be proficient in art instruction, including administration, organization, leadership, and facilities and material management.
Key Responsibilities:
Must be able to work the entire 7 weeks without taking a day off for vacation. Create and follow lesson plans for the summer Teach all art classes Ensure student safety and supervision of students at all times Oversee student sign-in sheets, assist with assessments Participate in Staff development, weekly rallies, and evaluations Assist to establish and maintain an environment of physical and emotional safety based on respect at all levels Maintain materials and ensure it is available and in good working condition Assist with retention and engagement Keeps track of student’s punctuality and participation in sessions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, preferred OR equivalent experience in the field experience working with at-risk youth excellent organization, leadership, and communication skills able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening bilingual preferred (English
