Position Summary:

We are looking for a magical, outgoing, and creative art teacher to join our team and lead after-school art classes twice a week and help with occasional weekend events or birthday parties. This is a hands-on teaching role for someone who genuinely loves working with children, inspiring creativity, and making art fun!

Class Schedule:

Tuesdays:

Art Magic Makers (Ages 5-9) | 4:15 PM-5:45 PM A mixed-media class where children create imaginative art using paint, clay, fabric, recyclables, and more. Teacher is responsible for developing a creative curriculum and guiding children through magical, hands-on projects.

Wednesdays:

Clay & Paint (Ages 3-5) | 4:15 PM-5:30 PM A play-based art class for our youngest artists to explore clay and mixed media in a sensory-rich, imaginative environment. Additional opportunities available on Friday evenings and occasional weekends for workshops, events and parties. $60-$80 per session (includes class time, set-up & clean-up)

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking someone who is: Passionate about teaching and inspiring young minds Creative and resourceful , with experience designing engaging art activities Friendly, energetic, and playful with children Magical – someone who brings imagination to life Organized , with the ability to prep materials, manage time, and keep supplies and storage areas tidy Comfortable sourcing or shopping for class supplies (with reimbursement)

Qualifications:

Experience working with children (ages 3-9) in a classroom, camp, or creative setting Background in art, art education, early childhood education, or related field preferred Reliable transportation and availability for scheduled classes and occasional events Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and actively engage with children during hands-on activities
