Pinot’s Palette Lexington Center – Lexington, MA Pinot’s Palette, a leader in the paint-and-sip industry, is excited to need some fun charismatic art instructors as we continue to grow! Customers will follow your instruction while they paint on their own stretched canvases with acrylic paint. The ideal person for this job will have an outgoing personality, strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, positive attitude and the ability to work quickly and energetically with our team of artists.

MUST HAVE A CAR TO COMMUTE TO LEXINGTON, MA.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating & developing paintings to be taught in classes and used for promotional items. Developing & executing detailed teaching methods
• Instructing customers during class in an energetic, clear, and well-paced manner while encouraging creativity and creating a relaxed, fun atmosphere
• Assisting customers and staff member(s) to ensure smooth class flow and promote customer painting success through teamwork and a positive attitude.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to design and execute quality, acrylic paintings in various painting styles. Basic computer skills and internet knowledge. Act as a good host for your event and support with greeting/seating customers Public Speaking or performance skills (comfortable speaking on a microphone)
• Help customers with any painting need that arise Take customer photos during and at end of the session Follow cleaning checklists after the event.

Time management and communication skills Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license Ability to work nights and weekends as needed Must be 21 years or older Hours range from 12 to 20 hours a week.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift, bend Must be able to lift 25 to 30 pounds at times

Preferred Education/Experience:

• College Degree in Art or Design-related field. Some experience leading a group of people (classroom or otherwise)
• Some experience in customer service.

Events:

4 hours or 5 hours per shift. Weekday evenings and weekends, flexible hours.

Compensation:
