Ceramics Architecture Essential Duties:
Design and implement curriculum and lesson plans that build the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively teach students at the assigned grade level. Create lessons that build an excitement for art. Use a variety of different materials and art styles to diversify student experiences in art making Evaluate each student’s progress in their knowledge and skills. Communicate with parents to discuss the individual student’s progress.. Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred in an art field. Minimum of 3 years of teaching experien c e at the K-12 preferred. Passion for visual art, art history, and the fine arts. Knowledge of varied teaching strategies to differentiate learning. Eager to work collaboratively with other teachers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. U.S. Work Authorization required.
Additional Desired Qualities:
Willingness to work with middle or high school students. Desire to be involved in school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities.
