We are currently accepting applications. We are looking for a certified art teacher , with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience . The qualifications for this position include the following: Organizational skills Strong communication skills Ability to implement a set curriculum Classroom management skills Classes will be located in our Timberlyne studio in North Chapel Hill. The schedule will require afternoon through evening hours as well as Saturdays . These positions are part time, 20-25 hours per week depending on enrollment. The position offers $25-$35 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. A background check is required and you will receive a W-2. As the school is a new location, you will be assisting the owner in physically setting up the studios and recruiting our initial classes of students . The school will have small class sizes limited to 12 students per class. We provide all necessary supplies and a comprehensive curriculum serving students from preschool age through high school and beyond. Continuous professional development is a part of our commitment, with ongoing monthly training opportunities. You will report directly to the owner of the Chapel Hill location.
