The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Judaism and art education, and/or kosher cooking with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, facilitating art projects, or kosher cooking experiences. Responsibilities Create lesson plans that engage students and encourage creativity while addressing various skill levels. Educate students on different art techniques, and/or kosher cooking skills. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners, including those with disabilities. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities. Organize art exhibitions or showcases to display student work and celebrate their achievements. Collaborate with other educators to integrate Judaic content into the art or cooking curriculum. Provide tutoring and additional support for students needing extra help in art concepts or techniques. Maintain an organized classroom space that promotes creativity and safety. Skills Strong knowledge of classroom management techniques and teaching methodologies. Proficiency in curriculum development tailored to various age groups and skill levels. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey artistic concepts to students. Experience working with individuals with disabilities to ensure an inclusive learning environment. Understanding of childhood development principles as they relate to artistic expression. A passion for sharing Judaic content whether through artistic expression or kosher cooking.
