Responsibilities:

Demonstrate teaching excellence in the elementary art classroom Demonstrate an understanding of childhood development and behavior Demonstrate sound classroom management skills Cultivate a positive learning environment Demonstrate knowledge and mastery of instructional practices for art used in elementary education Support the ideas and policies of the administration Communicate well with parents and keep them informed of the student’s progress Able to collaborate with teachers and partner with parents Able to integrate biblical truths and a biblical worldview into music content Maintains a professional standard of dress and an engaging personality Prompt and continuous attendance on campus

Willingness to sponsor extra-curricular activities/clubs, or be able to coach an athletic team Willingness to obtain an ACSI certification Completion of specific curriculum training is part of our new teacher hiring process, including two required summer book readings.
