Lotus Learning is seeking a compassionate, creative, and dependable Travel Instructor to support homeschool families in the Riverview area. This is a flexible, part-time role ideal for educators who enjoy customizing instruction to meet students where they are—both academically and geographically. As a Travel Instructor, you will work one-on-one or in small groups with homeschool students at their homes or community learning spaces. You will collaborate with families to tailor lesson plans that reflect their educational goals, values, and curriculum preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel to students’ homes or designated local locations for instruction Design and implement engaging, individualized lesson plans based on family-selected standards and student needs Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about progress and goals Create a warm, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment Maintain consistent scheduling and professional conduct Submit brief session reports and mileage logs

Qualifications:

Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or similar roles) Bachelor’s degree or willingness to take a Florida subject area certification exam (highly preferred) Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Passion for education, flexibility, and a student-centered mindset Ability to work independently
