The ideal candidate will have a strong background in language instruction and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves teaching Spanish to students of various ages and proficiency levels, developing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Teach Spanish language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Assess student performance through standardized testing and other evaluation methods. Provide tutoring and additional support to students as needed to enhance their learning experience. Collaborate with other educators in education administration tasks to improve instructional strategies. Conduct research on best practices in language education and incorporate findings into lesson planning. Utilize instructional design principles to create effective learning materials. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Proficiency in Spanish with strong communication skills in both Spanish and English. Experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and literacy education. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and educational assessment techniques. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience in copy editing or journalism is a plus, enhancing the ability to teach language nuances.
