DESCRIPTION
Seeking highly qualified candidates for a tenure-track position teaching Spanish at the Junior High School level. The successful candidate will demonstrateengaging language acquisition strategies for beginner-level speakers, skills in planning and assessment to support all students’ achievement, and a passionfor Spanish language and culture. Rush-Henrietta seeks teachers who enthusiastically embrace culturally responsive teaching practices and mindsets; applicantsof diverse backgrounds and life experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
SALARY:
Highly competitive, based on experience and earned graduate credits, per Rush Henrietta Teachers’ Contract.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess (or be in the process of obtaining) New York State Teaching Certification in Spanish.
EFFECTIVE
August 26, 2025Attendance at New Teacher Orientation on August 19-21 is required.
