Job Description
Temporary part-time Spanish GED teacher for adults at EASTCONN’s Willimantic location (Tyler Square / CLC ): multilevel evening classes will meet from 5:30•8 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays between July 7th through August 7th.
The successful candidate will assist in developing curriculum, teach in a positive and supportive manner, have an understanding of the CCRS, have the ability to differentiate instruction, integrate technology, and be a team player.
The successful applicant must possess the ability to relate positively to a multiracial, multicultural, and mutilevel group of students. He/She must be able to engage the students in meaningful instruction.
Prior experience teaching Spanish GED and flexibility to work at multiple sites is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in education or related field, and certified or certifiable in CT Adult Education (#107).
