MILA International Language Academy (Jacksonville branch) is seeking for qualified and enthusiastic ESL teachers and substitute teachers. Be part of a team that is dedicated to student growth and teacher development.
Available shifts (IN-PERSON):

Monday-Tuesday:
8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
–
Monday-Thursday:
6:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
–
Wednesday-Thursday:
08:30 a.m- 6:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Manage and educate students in a classroom setting
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
Adhere to established teaching curriculum
Maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Document and share student grades and evaluations
Maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications:
Candidates must have minimum of a bachelor’s degree. If the degree is not directly related to the ESL field, candidates must have a
TESL/TEFL
certificate.
Candidates who have not yet received their
TESL/TEFL
certification, will be required to receive one from an accredited program within 90 days of hire.
Previous experience in teaching or other educational fields (2 years)
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership qualities
