We are seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Spanish Teacher to join our dedicated team for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about introducing and expanding Spanish language instruction in a Montessori setting for students in grades 1 through 8.

Part- Time, Hourly Position, based on experience

Class Schedule:

Thursdays, 11:30am-3:00pm

Qualifications:

Fluency in Spanish (native or near-native proficiency) Experience teaching Spanish to elementary and/or middle school students Strong understanding of child development and student-centered learning Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate, and culturally rich lesson plans Excellent classroom management and communication skills Familiarity with Montessori philosophy is preferred, but not required

Additional Requirements:

Must be 21 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S. Physically able to perform light labor (lifting, bending, reaching, and navigating stairs) Ability to pass State and National background checks Must meet all training and eligibility requirements set by the state of

Florida Responsibilities:

Teach Spanish to students in grades 1-8 in both group and individual formats Develop and deliver interactive and immersive lessons focused on listening, speaking, reading, and writing Foster a love of language learning and an appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures Collaborate with classroom guides and administrative staff to support students’ academic and developmental progress Maintain a positive, respectful classroom environment in alignment with Montessori principles Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities as needed Join our team and be part of a community that values the Montessori method and the development of each child.
