About Us:

The Learning Loft is a creative, student-centered educational center for homeschoolers and alternative learners. We offer small-group enrichment classes that encourage curiosity, confidence, and connection—without the pressure of traditional schooling. We are currently seeking a passionate Spanish Facilitator to lead language immersion-style classes for elementary through high school students in a welcoming, flexible, and nontraditional environment.

What You’ll Do:

Design and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate Spanish classes (not lecture-based!) Create a classroom environment where students feel comfortable using the language actively Encourage cultural appreciation alongside language learning Collaborate with our founder and program director to align with The Learning Loft’s creative, learner-led approach You’re a great fit if you: Are a native Spanish speaker Have experience working with children or teens Are comfortable designing your own curriculum, adapting one creatively, or implementing one given in a fun way Enjoy student-driven learning and nontraditional education settings Can manage a fun, focused classroom environment

Bonus Points For:

Previous teaching or tutoring experience Experience with Latin American or Spanish cultures Ability to work across age groups (4 years through adult)

Schedule & Details:

Part-time, 3-5 days per week (exact schedule flexible) Classes begin August 2025 All supplies and classroom space provided W-2 employee classification Benefits available
