Compensation:
$55.00/hour Bedford Public Schools is seeking two ESL teachers to deliver targeted English language development instruction to elementary English learners. This 3-week program provides 12 hours of instruction per week, with an additional 30 minutes of daily prep time (2 hours/week). Teachers will also participate in a required 3-hour planning day on Thursday, June 26, alongside the EL Director. Teachers will design lesson plans that focus on instruction aligned to the
WIDA ELD
Standards Framework, supporting students’ growth in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Lessons will emphasize academic language development through the key language uses of inform, explain, and narrate, helping students build vocabulary, oral expression, and content-area comprehension.
