Full-time, 10-Month Contract Our School Cristo Rey Research Triangle High School is a grade 9-12 Catholic Jesuit community that welcomes students of all faiths and is committed to preparing students for college and life through rigorous academic and professional work-study programs. Job Description Cristo Rey Research Triangle High School is hiring a Spanish Teacher committed to the mission of transforming the lives of young people through high-quality, holistic education. The successful applicant will be a caring, justice-oriented, innovative, and collaborative educator who works tirelessly to ensure all students realize their potential for greatness.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing a rigorous and culturally responsive Spanish curriculum Supporting students from diverse linguistic, cultural, and academic backgrounds Building strong relationships and cultivating a joyful, engaging, and affirming classroom culture Demonstrating content expertise and instructional effectiveness Collaborating with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning experiences Actively engaging in the school’s professional learning and formation programs Upholding and modeling Cristo Rey’s core values: Faith and Justice, Respect and Care, Responsibility and Commitment Qualifications Successful applicants will embody mission-commitment, intellectual curiosity, openness to growth, and optimism. In addition, they will meet or exceed the following requirements: A bachelor’s degree in education, Spanish, or a related field Dedication to Cristo Rey’s Jesuit mission and values Competency in designing and implementing curriculum for a heterogeneous student population Ability to connect with culturally and linguistically diverse students and their families.
