July 7•August 15 | Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM•3:00 PM We are a tutoring center in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn seeking a passionate and creative Chinese Teacher to join our 2025 Summer Program. The ideal candidate is fluent in Mandarin (required) and skilled at designing fun, hands-on activities that help elementary students stay engaged while building literacy and cultural understanding.

PM Age Group:
Grades 1-6
Language Requirement:
Fluency in Mandarin is a must Responsibilities Teach Chinese reading, writing, speaking, and listening to small groups of elementary students Design and lead interactive, age-appropriate activities such as games, art, storytelling, role-play, or music Use bilingual support to help immigrant students feel comfortable and confident Create a positive, inclusive classroom that encourages participation and celebrates cultural identity Collaborate with fellow educators to support each child’s growth socially and academically Qualifications Fluent in Mandarin (required); proficiency in English also needed Experience teaching children, ideally in summer camps, after-school programs, or classroom settings Creative and energetic, with the ability to make language learning fun and engaging Patient, supportive, and culturally responsive Degree in education or relevant field preferred, but not required Certification in Chinese language instruction or childhood education is a plus
Compensation Pay:
$18•20 per hour Expected hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
