We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher who wants to help young children become fluent in Mandarin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves working closely with children to promote their academic, social, and emotional development through engaging lesson plans and activities. We are willing to help the right person relocate from another city. Responsibilities Speak Mandarin to the children most of the day. Collaborate with your Spanish speaking Assistant Teacher. Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational needs of students, focusing on literacy education, math, and other core subjects. Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning. Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to parents and guardians regarding their child’s development. Collaborate with other educators and staff to create an inclusive atmosphere for all students, including those with special education needs. Organize and supervise activities that promote physical, social, and emotional growth among students. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior. Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of literacy education techniques and math instruction methods. Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development tailored for various age groups, particularly toddlers. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and special education needs. A passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a positive learning environment is essential.
