Category Schools – Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Soliant has an opening for a contracted Special Education Teacher near the Ardmore, Pennsylvania area. This position is for the 2025/2026 School Year. Soliant offers Weekly Pay, Guaranteed hours, and an exceptional Health Benefits & 401k package. :
- 2025/2026 school year
- Full-Time Role
- Must know ASL, willing to accept applicants with no ASL knowledge but for that would only be part-time as they would have to provide interpreter
- Caseload is around 55 students across 4 different classes (HS Algebra and Personal Finance, could be other subjects as well)
- High School students on this caseload will normally be at a lower reading level, (anywhere from 1st-4th grade)
- Candidate must have experience working with deaf or hard of hearing students and experience working with special needs is a plus
Qualifications:
- Pennsylvania Special Education License
- Experience in the classroom is preferred and prioritized
