We are seeking primarily Industry Professionals to sharetheir knowledge and experience with undergraduate BSN nursingstudents on-site in Stockbridge, GA.Fundamentals of Microbiologywith Lab (BIOS- 242)We are currently seeking anonsite MicrobiologyInstructorfor the July 2025 session at our Stockbridgecampus. Thisis an 8-week teaching assignment with in-person instructionrequiredtwo days per week.

Available Teaching Hours:

Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible within this range)This course coversbasic concepts of microbiology, with emphasison medically importantmicroorganisms and infectious diseases. Alsoaddressed aremicroscopy, microbial growth and genetics, antimicrobialagents,epidemiology and immune system responses to pathogens.

Lab exercisesfocus on aseptic techniques, isolation and cultureofmicroorganisms, microscopy and staining techniques.

Courses meeton campus twice a week, for eight week sessions. This face-to-faceinteraction is blended with technology (such as online discussionsand assignments) for an enhanced learning environment. Commitmentis on a course-by-course basis.

Qualifications Master’s Degree is required for all faculty positions (with 18graduate hours in the subject being taught for undergraduateteaching). Required Faculty must have requisite subject matter expertise andoutstanding communication skills. Faculty must also have excellent motivational and instructionalskills in a diverse and non-traditional environment. Must be able to work in a collegial manner and facilitate theefforts of diverse groups. Additional requirements driven by state licensing oraccreditation considerations may apply. Campus:

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country,the expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120per assignment to $7,245 per assignment, depending on thecandidate’s education and experience. Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permittedby law, such as type of course taught; experience and training;geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors;departmental budgets; and responsibility.
