Saint Joseph’s College of Maine is accepting resumes for Adjunct Faculty in advanced business applications, finance and economics for SJCOnline which has provided online programs since 1976. Faculty will both develop in collaboration with instructional designers online courses, and teach online courses in finance and economics at the graduate and undergraduate level.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s or higher degree in Business, Finance or closely related field.
Previous online teaching experience required
At least three years of employment in the discipline required

Knowledge and proficiency in related discipline
Demonstrated interest in mentoring and teaching in related discipline

Ability to effectively plan, establish and implement teaching goals and objectives
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution
Schedule

Teaching:

Adjunct faculty who teach are required to be available to students some evenings and limited weekends to answer emails and provide assistance. Anticipated commitment is 10 hours per week.

Curriculum Development:

Those who develop curriculum will receive a contract for development. Anticipated commitment is 10 hours per week for 4-5 weeks.
